CertPay Wizard
CertPay Wizard automates the reporting requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act, that requires construction contractors and subcontractors working on any project where federal funds are used for payment of part or all of the project’s costs to file a weekly payroll report. This report must certify that each labor payment within each labor classification either equals or exceeds “local prevailing wages” as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.
Direct Deposit Wizard
Direct Deposit Wizard works seamlessly with your Peachtree program to completely automate direct deposit service for your employees. Direct Deposit Wizard formats payroll to National Automated Clearing House Standards (“NACHA” or “ACH”), whose member banks accept and process direct deposit payrolls. Direct Deposit Wizard saves time and helps modernize payroll operations by allowing deposits to occur automatically while requiring little or no interaction. Most importantly, Direct Deposit Wizard is a one-time cost with no continuing non-bank fees.
Electronic and Magnetic Media Federal and State Payroll Reporting Programs
WizMag W-2 (Peachtree and QuickBooks)
Social Security Administration and many states require that employers with 250 or more W-2 employees file the annual W-2 report electronically via the Internet to an SSA secure Web site or on magnetic media. WizMag W-2 extracts yearly payroll information from Peachtree or QuickBooks, reformats that data to comply with both Social Security and the respective state reporting requirements and creates a file(s) for appropriate submission.
WizMag 1099-MISC (Peachtree only)
Internal Revenue Service requires businesses with more than 250 1099-MISC vendors to file the annual 1099-MISC reports on magnetic media or electronically. WizMag 1099-MISC extracts vendor payment data from Peachtree and reformats the data as required by the IRS. It then creates a file than can be transmitted to IRS electronically via the Internet to an IRS secure Web site or can sent on magnetic media. The following 1099-MISC fields can be reported: Rents, Royalties, Other Income, Fishing Boat Proceeds, Medical and Health Care Payments, Nonemployee Compensation, Substitute Payments in lieu of Dividends or Interest, Payer made direct sales of $5,000 or more of consumer products to a buyer (recipient) for resale, Crop Insurance Proceeds, Excess Golden Parachute Payments, and Gross Proceeds paid to an Attorney. Peachtree does not report Federal Income Tax Withheld.
WizMag CA DE 6 (Peachtree and QuickBooks)
CA DE 6 is a quarterly report that contains elements of a typical state W-2 report and a typical state unemployment tax report. California requires companies with 250 or more W-2 employees to file Form DE 6 either electronically via the Internet to a California Employer Development Department secure Web site or on magnetic media. WizMag CA DE 6 extracts quarterly payroll data from your Peachtree or QuickBooks accounting product and creates a file for submission.

More and more states are requiring that many employers file their quarterly unemployment tax return on magnetic media or electronically.
