Purging Old Data
Accounting programs generate huge amounts of data. Within Peachtree you can only modify data in the two open fiscal years. The data from prior years appears to have gone away, but it hasn’t. It is still there; you just can’t readily see it or make changes to it. Over a period of time this old data obviously takes up more and more of your hard disk space. Peachtree has a purge feature, but it only purges data that meet certain very limited criteria. Wizard has the ability to go behind the scenes in Peachtree and purge most of your old data. We recommend that only accounting detail be purged and that summary information continue to be stored for archival purposes.
Health Check
Health Check is a preventive maintenance plan designed to detect physical damage or corruption before it’s too late for you and your Peachtree data. WizMag Preparation Services
WizMag is a series of programs that automate the preparation of the files relating to payroll that are necessary to comply with federal and state government reporting requirements.
